THE CROSSROAD

Cross Road in this context is reaching a point in life at which you are expected to make a critical decision about what to do next i.e. whether to quit or not, move forward or backward. In this kind of situation, we must be intentional about making the right decisions because at the end , we will all be responsible for the aftermath result of our Decisions.

Choice is an Act of choosing from multiple options. Freedom of choice is generally cherished , where as a severely limited or artificially restricted choice can lead to discomfort with choosing and possibly an unsatisfactory outcome. In contrast, a choice with excessively numerous options may lead to confusion, reduced satisfaction , regret of the alternatives not taken and indifference in an unstructured existence.

At some point in Life , we just have to be ready to make a definite choice amongst several options that keeps dragging our attention. It's so hard "cracking the nut " to reach a point of Decision making.

Well , this may not look like your regular blog post but I hope after reading through this, the message must have been driven Home and Clear enough. We are Wired to make Decisions for ourselves , however we must be able to pin point those negative triggers that lure us to making the wrong choices;

  • Impulse: This is quite a Risky trigger because you don't get to "Think Through" before making a Decision. No matter how pressurized we may be , it's important we don't rush into deciding on what can defer our Future. We have to "Pause and Think" , Ask ourselves some questions that will result to reviewing our Decision making.

  • A Beclouded Mind: When you are all choked up with different thought-lines , you tend to randomly dive into choosing any option without considering the Aftermath Effect. Try to get your mind settled or try to be in a right state of mind before opting to make a decision.

  • Uncertainty: This sounds a bit tricky I guess. It surprises me that we humans tend to give in easily to what we are ignorant about, instead of making our findings. Uncertainty distracts us from getting the Big picture of life and by that we loose focus or sight of what the future holds.

Let me end here by saying that in a world whereby , we have the free will to choose from various options in life , let's be deliberate about identifying between the wrong and right choice before jumping into conclusion.

Amazing content. This is a major problem in this generation. Making a choice. This bends to answering a fundamental question which is "Who am i?" "What do i need?" In making decision we all need to set a thin line between what is important, necessary and urgent. Thank you.

This was inspiring, clearly decluttering once mind before taking any decision is key, especially in our world today(bombardment of information, if there is any sentence like that) if your want to make the right decisions.
